6 Songs About Color

Abstract Ethereal Paintings By Siobhan Bedford

For The Love Of Color

I’ve been blending endlessly on these smaller canvases… you could think of them as color landscapes.

Just for fun to celebrate color I’ve made you a list of my favorite songs about color.

In some way, I think to interact with color is to experience the infinite. I’m constantly paying attention to the subtle shifts in colors around me. From the never ending indigo symphony of the sky, to the translucent dance of light that flickers through the petals in my garden turning it into a stained glass cathedral.

Color is a huge influence in my work. I often find myself just gazing in awe at its beauty. I’m not necessarily thinking about how I’ll put it in a painting. I’m just letting it drip deep into myself to fill the well that sustains art making.
